Church of Our Lady Mission Statement

We, as members of Church of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, believe that we are called to minister to all who come through our doors.  As good stewards, when we go out, we will take Christ to our local community and to the whole of God’s world.

From Our Memorial Book:  To the Glory of God and in Loving Memory of our deceased.  In the month of February we pray for Joseph Clement Bacon, Reg Nieszner, Edward John Elsom.

Don’t forget your Church: Thank you to all those who have bequeathed a portion of their estate to Church of Our Lady.  Their legacy financed the new projection equipment & laptop computer in our Church, repairs to the exterior of the Church, improvement to the grounds.  Enhancements still needed are space for Children’s Liturgy and the youth, as well as other building & ground improvements.

The Parish Pastoral Team visits the sick, the elderly and the lonely in homes, hospitals and nursing homes, and brings Communion to the sick and shut-ins.  If you or someone you know would like a visit from a member of our Pastoral Team or the priest, call the church office at 692-2950.

Forgiveness, too, is a gift from God.  Freed from the paralysis of sin, the man in today’s Gospel was able to stand and give witness to the power of God.  How do I let sin cripple me?  Am I a good steward of the gift of God’s forgiveness?

Thank You

My family and I wish to express our heartfelt thanks for all of your many prayers and Masses that were offered for me, as well as for your loving concern during my illness and transplant.

My road to recovery is an uphill battle but I know that with God’s help and your ongoing prayers, my health will continue to improve.

God bless you all.   Diane Stark

Annual Appeal:  Thank YOU!

This past year, your prayers and generous gifts for the 2011 Annual Appeal totaling over

$1,180,000 will make an enormous difference for our Catholic Church in Southern

Saskatchewan. Because of your commitment, you have helped answer Christ’s call for our

Archdiocese to serve Him in one another. Indeed you have demonstrated sincere gratitude to

God, in a true spirit of Stewardship, for His many and generous gifts and blessings to each of

us.  Parishioners like you are making a powerful impact in the lives of others through the

various ministries, like hospital chaplaincy, youth ministry, faith formation and social outreach

that the Archdiocese is able to offer. Thank you for your example of faithful stewardship and

God Bless you.       Archbishop Daniel J. Bohan
